Recent Projects in Pest Management Several Doctoral
students are funded by the main forestry companies in New Zealand, Carter Holt Harvey,
Fletcher Challenge, Rayonier New Zealand, Timberlands West Coast Ltd., Contributions to
some of FRASS projects also come from AgResearch, and Crop Care. FRASS has compiled
Pest and Disease Contingency Plans for some of the major companies in New Zealand. FRASS attends
in-house meetings with the main forestry companies to transfer technology to field
personnel and forest managers. This is a continuing service we provide for the forestry
sector. We have published a
series of articles in the New Zealand Tree Grower concerning forest health and biosecurity
